With centralised policy compliance and enhanced visibility across hybrid environments, this is set to transform modern app delivery and security strategies.

F5 announced the general availability of NGINX One. This new offering combines advanced load balancing, web and application server functionalities, API gateway features, and security measures in a single package. With this release, the company enables customers to manage and secure both F5 NGINX and NGINX Open Source through a unified cloud management interface, offering a more streamlined approach to app delivery and security management. It consolidates previously separate solutions, such as NGINX Plus, into one package, making deployment easier and reducing costs for organizations.

It includes the NGINX One Console, which allows customers to ensure global policy compliance and offers a complete view of NGINX across different teams and infrastructures. It addresses the complexity faced by enterprise app teams managing applications across diverse environments, from traditional servers to Kubernetes clusters. It also simplifies uniform policy enforcement for security, compliance, and configuration across these varied architectures. It offers a cost-effective way to optimize, scale, and secure application and API environments. The platform provides centralized management for traffic optimization, security, and scaling, allowing organizations to innovate more efficiently while maintaining strong security and visibility.

This release is seen as a step forward in providing better visibility across hybrid multicloud environments, improving observability, and integrating enhanced telemetry and AI capabilities for application performance insights. Customers like Medallia have already highlighted the value of the new features in identifying system vulnerabilities and enhancing visibility across their infrastructure. Pratik Shah, Managing Director at F5 India & SAARC, described the release as a shift from NGINX being a standalone product to a comprehensive SaaS-based solution tailored for modern application demands. This evolution makes it easier for teams to deliver and secure cloud-native apps, including those built on Kubernetes and other containerised environments.
