Camunda Launches BPM 7.12 For Its Open Source Platform in Workflow Automation

According to a report by Globe Newswire, software company Camunda working in workflow automation has released Camunda BPM 7.12 that aims to add more functionality to the company’s open source platform for workflow and decision automation. The new release will provide support for high-volume, improve modelling experience and enhance business process model and notation (BPMN) as per the report.

Daniel Meyer, Camunda’s CTO said, “Camunda business process management (BPM) is fast becoming the de facto standard for business process automation. Continuous improvement is at the heart of what we do. We are pleased to deliver a 7.12 release full of enhancements driven by our vibrant user community to help businesses of all shapes and sizes advance their workflow and decision automation projects.”

Docker Container

The report said that the Camunda BPM 7.12 will come with Advanced BPMN execution capabilities with support for triggering BPMN error and escalation events from user tasks and time-triggered listeners. It will also have enhanced collaboration with technical operators on Cockpit via capabilities.

As per the report, the new release will have updated Docker Container that will run Camunda BPM in Kubernetes and additional supported environments like Java 13, Wildfly 12/13. It will also aim for improved modelling with support for BPMN groups and grid snapping.
