Developers from Mozilla celebrated their victory over Google Chrome last week; they posted on their new Firefox Nightly News that says, “We’re now apparently beating Chrome on the SunSpider JavaScript benchmark!”.
This news comes after they beat Chrome’s numbers in the SunSpider JavaScript benchmark test. The numbers proved how easily Firefox defeated Chrome in the decade-old JavaScript benchmark. However, Google Chrome won effortlessly in the JetStream 2.0 benchmark, which is more demanding and new.
Other than Firefox performing better in the recent tests, Mozilla has been working on the HTTP/2 upload speed improvements and other improvements.
