Neurotechnology, a provider of deep learning-based solutions and high-precision biometric identification technologies, announced today the integration and support of the MOSIP for its MegaMatcher ABIS and MegaMatcher SDK products. MOSIP is a modular and open source identity platform that assists user organisations, such as governments, in cost-effectively implementing a digital, foundational identification (ID) system. ID systems are the foundation of effective public and private service delivery worldwide, and Neurotechnology’s MegaMatcher ABIS and MegaMatcher SDK multi-biometric identification systems meet MOSIP best practises for scalability, security, and privacy.
MegaMatcher SDK is a comprehensive development kit for building single- and multi-biometric applications and systems for Microsoft Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, Android, and ARM Linux platforms. It includes top-ranked biometric recognition algorithms from Neurotechnology for fingerprint, face, eye iris, voice, and palm-print modalities. Each biometric modality’s biometric engine can be used alone or in conjunction with any of the other modalities to create multimodal biometric systems that take advantage of the increased accuracy provided by matching score fusion.
MegaMatcher ABIS is a comprehensive biometric solution that includes a ready-to-use interface for managing the various transaction types that are commonly used with identity management systems. It includes fingerprint, face, iris, and palm-print biometrics, as well as an adjudication module and a latent fingerprint editor, among other features.
MegaMatcher SDK and MegaMatcher ABIS can now be used in existing and future MOSIP-based large-scale identity projects, such as biometric passports, voter registration and deduplication, border control, law enforcement, social services, and a wide range of other applications that rely on secure, reliable person identification, thanks to support for the MOSIP API. MOSIP implementations for MegaMatcher SDK and MegaMatcher ABIS are available upon request for government institutions and system integrators seeking to test and use Neurotechnology’s capabilities via this open standard.
