Open Source FPGA Foundation (OSFPGA Foundation) has announced that its board of directors has appointed industry veteran Dr. Shrikant Lohokare as CEO, effective immediately. Dr. Lohokare will be responsible for the execution of strategic initiatives outlined by the board of directors and driving the growth of the Foundation.
He has held a variety of positions as a senior executive and entrepreneur with global leadership and cross-functional management experience, driving vision, innovation, strategy, operational and commercial excellence at a wide range of organizations including Fortune 500 Companies, startups, venture capital and private equity firms, as well as industry non-profit organizations. Dr. Lohokare has most recently served as Chief Executive of the Global Semiconductor Alliance.
Significantly enhance FPGA architecture
He holds a Ph.D. in semiconductor physics from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign, and a masters from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
