Wipro Partners with Alfresco for Open Source Digital Transformation Program

Under this partnership, Wipro and Alfresco will introduce a series of go-to-market initiatives, including a combined Predictive Service Automation solution using machine learning and artificial intelligence 

Wipro Digital, the digital business unit of Wipro Ltd, announced that it has expanded its global partnership with Alfresco, a leading enterprise open source provider of process automation, information governance software and content management.

The partnership between Wipro and Alfresco is aimed at creating, running and building open source-based digital transformation programme for the clients all over the world, said the company in a statement.

Go-to-market initiatives

The association will bring together Digital Business Platform of Alfresco and digital transformation expertise of Wipro. Under the partnership, the two firms will introduce a series of go-to-market initiatives, including a combined Predictive Service Automation solution using machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI) and a framework based on microservices.

With these solutions, enterprises can eliminate asset failure, using the intelligence module that allows action from decades of data. The enterprises can also use augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies to accelerate the incident resolution and cut down the costs on recruitment and training. In addition, third party associates can integrate their abilities through application programming interfaces (APIs).

Cost effective outcomes

Commenting on the partnership, Chandra Surbhat, Vice President and Global Head, Digital Experience, Wipro Ltd said, “It has been our endeavour to make our clients win in their digital transformation journey.
