Blockchain Storage Revolutionist Lambda, open-sourced its Proof-of-Space-Time (PoST) algorithm on GitHub, now available to developers around the world.

Reportedly PoST is the first ever blockchain open source protocol with high-speed verification capabilities, repetition computation, and streamlined proofs. This algorithm ensures streamlined project development and continuously random challenges on the blockchain through validator nodes.

Commenting on the launch of the Lambda PoST protocol, the company’s co-founder and CMO, Lucy Wang, said:

“The PoST algorithm is a testament to our ingenuity and dedication to the Lambda project as our team of expert computer scientists utilize top technology innovations to continually improve data integrity proof processing on the blockchain. We are proud to have developed and now share the first-ever open source PoST algorithm with the developer community on GitHub and look forward to creating new ideas and research for distributed blockchain storage in the future.”

PoST Algorithm for Decentralized Data Storage

PoST algorithm is for decentralized networks, it allows communication between a storage provider and a verifier. Through this protocol, a storage provider can inform a verifier about the details of file storage based on location and duration.

According to Lambda, its PoST algorithm offers several advantages over other decentralized file storage projects.

Company’s main focus is on ensuring that its protocol remain agile, iterative and easy to use without technical issues that can affect the development cycle.

About Lambda
Lambda is a fast, safe, and scalable blockchain infrastructure project, which provides decentralized applications (DAPPs), data storage capabilities with unlimited scalability and fulfills services such as multi-chain data co-storage, cross-chain data management, data privacy protection, provable data possession (PDP), and distributed intelligent computing through logic decoupling and independent implementation of Lambda Chain and Lambda DB.
