EOH acquires LSD to tap open source potential

EOH is excited to announce acquisition of LSD Information Technology, for an undisclosed amount. The company feels that the partnership will bring the value and innovation of open source solutions to the EOH customers’ and enable their digital transformation journey.

LSD’s core strength lies in Linux and enterprise open source solutions or technology. Whereas, EOH is an Africa based, technology services company with a range of solutions in industry consulting, IT services, software, IT infrastructure, industrial technologies and business process outsourcing.

The company, EOH says by identifying global trends and local needs, they are able to proactively source and secure capabilities that will assist with the adoption of the digital revolution. The acquisition means that LSD’s offerings across Linux, automation, DevOps and containers will make a great technology fit for EOH to lead open source soultions in the market.

Rob Godlonton, chief executive of ICT at EOH, says, “We have a long-standing relationship with LSD that goes back many years. Their introduction into the EOH family makes sense and it complements our value proposition to our customers in the digital world.

They are bullish that the customers will derive great value from the coming joint solutions as open source becomes increasingly integral to our customers’ ICT strategies.
