Tux4Ubuntu is an open source theme that brings the official Tux mascot to Linux. The fun project is supposed to revamp the look and feel of your Ubuntu desktop.
Refreshing the experience right from the booting screen, Tux4Ubuntu enables Tux character in all right places. The theme changes the view of boot loader screen and transforms the entire distribution into a tuxified platform.
Tux4Ubuntu can be installed on any systems featuring Ubuntu 16.04 or above. You can install its presence by running the following code in the command line:
bash <(curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/tuxedojoe/tux4ubuntu/master/download-tux4ubuntu-installer.sh)
Once you hit the enter button after typing the above command, you will get a list of options to choose from. You can install the theme everywhere or pick and choose the areas that you would like to change. Also, there is an option to uninstall and revert to original Ubuntu theme.
You can access the Tux4Ubuntu code from a GitHub repository. It includes necessary documentation and the license file of the theme.
