BE Summits has announced that the Global IoT Conclave is scheduled to take place in Bengaluru on August 26. The event is endorsed by Electronics Corporation of India, a Government of India enterprise, and supported by Google.
“The adoption of IoT services and machine-to-machine (M2M) technology will change the way we live and work in ways never witnessed before. IoT is the fuel for innovation, new value and an open ecosystem of partnership. Ultimately, we are leveraging IoT to deliver new value, transform our customer offer in a digital and connected way in bringing efficiency, sustainability, safety and reliability,” states the production head of the summit.
According to the 2016 Global Connectivity Index, India is currently ranked at 44. There is a speculation that 6.4 billion connected devices will be in use globally this year, 30 percent up from 2015. This number is expected to reach 20.8 billion by 2020.
Thus, to align leading vendors in the IT space with qualified decision-makers and buyers, Bengaluru-based BE Summits has planned the Global IoT Conclave in partnership with Google and Aeris. Vipin Tyagi, executive director of Centre for Development of Telematics, will be the key speaker at the event. Also, various CIOs from companies like Havells and TVS Motors will discuss the major areas to improve and growth for the IoT market in the country.
