Arch Linux has received a new update that brings Linux kernel 4.7. The Linux distribution with the latest kernel version is now available for download on systems with 32- and 64-bit architectures.

With the addition of Linux kernel 4.7, Arch Linux has become one of the first few distributions to offer a fresh experience. The kernel comes with some new security improvements. Additionally, there is support for newer GPU models to uplift your system.

The upgraded kernel includes a LoadPin security module that loads all the modules from the same filesystem. There is also an option to generate virtual USB Device Controllers in USB/IP.

Arch Linux is already a simple Linux distribution. However, the new update has made it a powerful one in the list of available Linux versions.

You can upgrade Arch Linux on your system by using “sudo pacman -Syu” command in the Terminal app. Upon the installation is done, the kernel will start working on your system following a boot.
